Robert's account

I was a little aprehensive as this was the first real outing on a circuit for the Twin Turbo and I still hadn't managed to nail the tappet problem! After the briefing was out in the first group, the car was feeling pretty good, got used to the track layout quite quickly. Craner Curves is just awesome! As the day went on I tried to go through without Craner without lifting, the car got well out of shape and I couldn't get the car back over to the left for the Old Hairpin!! I tried the same thing a few times but just didn't have the grip to pull it off!

During the day there were quite a few people interested in the car, they seemed a little surprised at how fast it was I can't wait till I get the 4 litre in with the turbo's re-built!!!

The day was great fun and the general standard of driving was good. It would have been nice if it had rained a bit though The engine is now rattling a lot more than before, time for a re-build I think before Brands in June!

  Movies!!

A Compilation of various cars taken from the pit wall. No prizes for guessing I have some new video editing software right click here and click 'save target as' to download it. The file is 15MB and will take about 50-60 minutes to download on a 33.6 Modem. The video lasts about 1 minute 51 seconds.

Another Compilation of more cars taken from the pit wall right click here and click 'save target as' to download it. The file is 10.8MB and will take about 30-40 minutes to download on a 33.6 Modem. The video lasts about 1 minute 21 seconds.

If you haven't downloaded movies from my site yet you will also need this codec to decode the avi file. It is 600k. Just double click and follow instructions to install. You will only need to download this one time only as all our movies use this encoding.
